Default Can you use baking soda from the fridge for baking cookies?

I want to bake cookies but the only baking soda I have is the one in the fridge. Can I use that? ------

Depending how long you've had in the fridge...well I wouldnt'WANT to use it. IT's in there to absorb funky smells and it would taste bad.If you just stuck it in there yesterday, you should be fine tho ------

you CAN...but why its absorbed all the smells from the fridge...and besides baking soda costs apx...99cents...... ------
