Can I bake using the grill function in my microwave oven?

I know I could bake in a convection oven but what I've got is a microwave oven with grill function. I checked the manual but there is no information about it. I would like to bake cakes and muffins but not sure if grilling it would do. Also I'd like to know if it will be okay to use my muffin pans without causing any damage to the pans.Thanks for the input! ------
